Data Manager Baltics / Data Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of the PanBAL Data development Team, setting clearly defined goals & objectives, motivating the team to achieve organizational goals;
• Lead implementation and governance of data management procedures across Baltic organization to foster effective collaboration between Business and IT stakeholders;
• Review existing,  create and implement new data standards and best practices for operational and analytical data management, including data classification, quality, and metadata management;
• Govern design and development of the company's data architecture in the cloud, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance while maintaining the operational/analytical data distinction to ensure high data availability across organization;
• Provide strategic guidance on data analytics methodologies and tools in the cloud environment, enabling data-driven decision-making, predictive modelling and machine learning;
• Develop and lead a comprehensive cloud migration strategy, specifically focusing on migrating data infrastructure and systems to the MS Power BI cloud services;
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and incident response planning related to cloud data privacy and security;
• Work closely with other IT leaders and business stakeholders to align data initiatives, cloud migration, and overall business objectives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years Experience in managing the Microsoft Power BI cloud data analytics implementation projects;
• Proven track record of successfully managed projects related to data migration to cloud, preferably MS Azure;
• Strong collaboration, relationship management, and interpersonal skills;
• Understanding of business processes and data-driven initiatives across the organization;
• Experience in managing and using existing data assets to drive strategic decision-making;
• Strong organizational skills to give the team direction;
• Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment.

Working hours:
08:30 to 17:00 (flexible)

Office location: Riga or Kaunas

Working conditions: 
Hybrid work model, 2 days in office and 3 days - home office
