UI/UX Designer
HackMotion, SIA
DarbaGuru client – HackMotion – is a fast-growing tech company developing wearable motion sensors and software applications that help athletes improve their technique. Their solutions are already trusted by thousands of coaches and players across 60+ countries – including professional golfers, skiers, and elite sports teams. Now they’re looking for a UI/UX designer with a spark in their eye, creative thinking, and a passion for building inspiring products. This is not your typical website or form design gig — here you’ll work on a tangible, innovative product that truly helps people become better in sports.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in mobile app design (even one strong case study is enough!)
- A passion for building meaningful, real-world products
- A strong eye for visual clarity, UX flow, and usability
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Adobe CC tools (Illustrator, After Effects, etc.)
- Someone who enjoys designing from scratch, not just adjusting UI kits or copying patterns
- Confidence in communicating in English (Latvian is a plus)
- Willingness to work mainly on-site at the Riga office — the product is physical, testing happens in-house, and design goes far beyond Figma
What you will do:
- Own the full design process — from concepts and wireframes to polished UI for mobile and tablet apps
- Create intuitive, visually clear ways to present complex motion data
- Design illustrations, animations, and other visual content
- Work closely with product managers and developers — side by side, not just in Figma
- Maintain and evolve the design system
- Test prototypes, gather feedback, and continuously improve the user experience
What the company offers:
- A competitive salary: €2,500–4,400 gross/month (before taxes)
- The opportunity to receive company stock and become a part-owner
- Real-world impact — your design will reach athletes worldwide
- A hybrid work setup, with a cozy office in the heart of Riga
- A supportive, dynamic team that works with purpose and celebrates wins together
- An ambitious but balanced environment: this year, HackMotion tripled its revenue while maintaining a clear focus and well-thought-out workflows
Workplace: Riga, Latvia (on-site)
HackMotion isn’t just looking for a designer – they are looking for a passionate, creative partner to help make sports technology more intuitive, accessible, and visually delightful. Sounds exciting? :) Apply now by sending your CV to: do@darbaguru.lv
